Turn Bark request emails into a spreadsheet

Bark emails you each new request with the customer's answers to its questions. MailQL keeps the parts you act on, like who, what, where and how to reach them, as one row per request.

Free for 25 emails a month.

What each email becomes

SourceNamePhoneJobLocationDetails
BarkTom Becker850-555-0147House cleaningEastpoint, FL 32328Every 2 weeks, 3 bed / 2 bath, inside fridge and oven

All the columns: Source, Name, Phone, Email, Job, Location, Wanted by, Details. You can rename, add or remove any of them.

Set it up in two minutes

  1. Make a mailbox in MailQL and pick Home-service leads. You get an address like leads-k7f3qd@in.mailql.com.
  2. In Gmail, open Settings → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP and add that address. Confirm it with the code MailQL shows you.
  3. Search Gmail for from:(bark.com) subject:(request), choose Create filter, and tick Forward it to your MailQL address.
  4. New Bark request emails turn into rows as they arrive. Forward a few old ones by hand to fill the table now.

Good to know

  • Bark's extra answers (bedrooms, how often, extras) are summed up in the Details column, so nothing important is lost.
  • Anything MailQL isn't sure of is highlighted for you to check, with the words from the email it came from.
  • Download the table as CSV whenever you like, send each new row to a webhook (Zapier and Make included), or ask questions like "how many this month?".
