Turn Square online order emails into a spreadsheet
Square Online emails each new order, pickup or delivery. MailQL turns them into rows with the customer, items and amount paid, including discounts and tips.
Free for 25 emails a month.
What each email becomes
| Channel | Order # | Customer | Items | Total | Ship to |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Square | SQ-7740 | Hannah Ruiz | 2 × Smoked fish platter | $41.00 | Eastpoint, FL |
All the columns: Channel, Order #, Customer, Items, Total, Ship to. You can rename, add or remove any of them.
Set it up in two minutes

- Search Gmail for
from:(squareup.com) subject:(order), choose Create filter, and tick Forward it to your MailQL address. - New Square online order emails turn into rows as they arrive. Forward a few old ones by hand to fill the table now.
Good to know
- Pickup orders leave Ship to empty; delivery orders keep the delivery town.
- Total is what the customer paid, after discounts and with tips.
- Anything MailQL isn't sure of is highlighted for you to check, with the words from the email it came from.
- Download the table as CSV whenever you like, send each new row to a webhook (Zapier and Make included), or ask questions like "how many this month?".
