Turn Typeform response emails into a spreadsheet
Typeform can email you each new response. Forward three to a MailQL mailbox and it suggests columns from your form's questions, like these from a catering request form. Then every response after that becomes a row.
Free for 25 emails a month.
What each email becomes
| Name | Event date | Guests | Budget |
|---|---|---|---|
| Megan Howell | Nov 14, 2026 | 60 | $1,800.00 |
Columns are suggested from your own emails; these came from a catering request form.
Set it up in two minutes
- Make a mailbox in MailQL and pick Something else. You get an address like
forms-k7f3qd@in.mailql.com. - In Gmail, open Settings → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP and add that address. Confirm it with the code MailQL shows you.
- Search Gmail for
from:(typeform.com OR typeform.io), choose Create filter, and tick Forward it to your MailQL address. - Once three have arrived, click Suggest columns, adjust them, and save.
Good to know
- You can rename or drop any suggested column before anything is filled in.
- Anything MailQL isn't sure of is highlighted for you to check, with the words from the email it came from.
- Download the table as CSV whenever you like, send each new row to a webhook (Zapier and Make included), or ask questions like "how many this month?".
